Not far from the Atlantic coastline is an abandoned orphanage complex, once the largest orphanage in New York State. Established in the late 1890s, the orphanage campus features multiple large apartment sized dormitories, recreational facilities and a church. The campus is still partially active today, while the various smaller houses on the outskirts of the property now sit abandoned.
